Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer (Freelance)

Duzz.ai runs a real-time perception pipeline over live video streamed from physical mobile devices that is fed to our game playing agents. Our agents can play 100s of games but some of them require extra attention. Some of the hardest problems in our stack are classical CV problems: motion detection/estimation, template matching, object detection/classification.

We're looking for a senior CV engineer to take these on as scoped freelance projects.

What You'll Do

• Deliver scoped CV projects end-to-end, from problem definition to production-ready code
• Build robust algorithms for motion detection, frame comparison, and visual diffing on live mobile video
• Design feature extraction, template matching, and tracking components for multiple & various cases
• Profile and optimize for low-latency, real-time constraints

Requirements

• MSc or higher in CS, EE, or related, with a real CV focus
• Deep expertise in classical computer vision: image processing, feature detection/matching, geometric transformations, tracking, motion estimation
• Strong Python + OpenCV; comfortable with NumPy-level performance work
• Track record of delivering CV systems independently
• Available for freelance / project-based work

Nice to Have

• Python performance optimization (Numba or similar)
• Background in video processing, codecs, or FFmpeg internals
• Experience with mobile UI or screen-capture pipelines
