Senior Fullstack Engineer

Duzz.ai is building the next generation of game testing automation. We provide cloud-based QA services for mobile games through both manual and AI-driven testing on remote physical devices. Our platform orchestrates real Android and iOS devices at scale, streams live video for human and AI analysis, and delivers actionable test results to game studios worldwide.

We're a small, high-output team. We ship to production daily and move at an intense pace. We're looking for a senior fullstack engineer who can own large chunks of the system independently and gets energy from building things that work in the real world.

What You'll Do

• Design and build fullstack features end-to-end - from React UI to Python backend to database schema
• Own and evolve Temporal workflow orchestration for game testing sessions, device lifecycle management, and async job processing
• Build and maintain real-time video streaming pipelines from physical mobile devices to browser-based remote control interfaces
• Develop integrations with AWS Device Farm and on-premise device infrastructure for Android and iOS testing
• Contribute to system design decisions. We expect strong opinions backed by experience
• Debug hard, cross-layer problems spanning frontend, backend, infrastructure, complex network topologies, and device hardware

Technical Requirements

• Deep proficiency in React (hooks, state management, component architecture)
• Strong Python is a must: async patterns, type annotations, Pydantic, FastAPI, and clean idiomatic code
• Hands-on experience with Temporal for workflow orchestration
• Solid networking fundamentals: you understand what happens at every layer of a packet, and are comfortable with NAT traversal, tunneling, port forwarding, and diagnosing connectivity issues across complex topologies
• Solid PostgreSQL skills: schema design, query optimization, migrations
• Strong Docker and CI/CD experience: containerization, automated builds, and deployment workflows
• Experience with real-time systems: WebSockets, WebRTC, video streaming, low-latency protocols
• Comfort with mobile platforms at the device/OS level: ADB, device management, and ideally emulators

Experience & Mindset

• 7+ years of professional software engineering across frontend and backend
• Track record of delivering complex systems independently in small teams or startups
• Production-first mindset: you think about observability, error handling, and edge cases before you push code
• You thrive in ambiguity, ship fast without cutting corners, and know the difference between "good enough for now" and "tech debt that will kill us"

Nice to Have

• Android/iOS application development and system-level knowledge
• Background in game development, QA automation, or the gaming industry
• Experience with AI/ML pipelines or computer vision systems
• Familiarity with SSO patterns and identity platforms (Auth0 or similar) in multi-service architectures
• Experience with Railway or similar PaaS deployment platforms
